1956 Chevrolet BelAir Two Door Hardtop. This was a street car back in the ‘60’s and retains all of its high performance racing components. All of the receipts from 1964-67 are retained with the car showing each High Performance part that was added. 265 Power Pack Engine with over the counter GM Cylinder heads and a 1957 Corvette Two-Four Barrel setup – Intake, Carburetors, Distributor, and Valve Covers. Over the counter Heavy-Duty GM Three Speed Manual Transmission and GM 4.56 Positrac Rearend. Schiefer Clutch, Pressure Plate, and Fly-Wheel. Sun SST-801 10,000 RPM Tachometer that was purchased January 6th, 1967 with the receipt and all booklets still in the glovebox. Hurst “Mystery Shifter” with chrome Shifter and T-Handle. Thompson Headers with no exhaust. 15×4 Ansen Sprints up front with Firestone Tires and Pie-Crust Slicks on the rear. Also had Mickey Thompson “Max Track Super Stock S/S” rear tires in the back seat of the car. All of these parts are documented and shown on the receipts from various Speed Shops in Iowa. Few homemade additions as well: Traction Bars, Drive Shaft Safety Loop, and Tow Tabs.
