1983 Chevrolet Silverado Resto-Mod K10 Half-Ton Shortbed 4×4. This Square Body is a true K10 4-Wheel Drive Shortbed that has just undergone a Year and a Half complete Frame off Restoration, 600 total miles since completion. Restoration was Completed by Wisdom Rod Shop of Berryville, Arkansas. LS Swapped 6.0 Vortec Max backed by a 4L80E Transmission, 241 Transfer-Case and 3.73 Gears. All three of these components were completely Tore-Down and Rebuilt during the Restoration. All of the Drive Accessories and Drive-Line Components are brand new. The Exterior has been restored with all of the original GM Body Panels and Sheet Metal. As many NOS and Original GM components were utilized on this Build. Luckily this Truck features very Minimal Reproduction Components. The only non-GM Metal on the pickup are the Inner Fenderwells. Professionally Painted in GM Cardinal Red, Base Coat Clear Coat. While the Body was off the Frame, the entire Underside was Undercoated with Line-X (cab, fenders, rockers, cab corners, bed and bed sides). New Hooker Exhaust Manifolds with 2-1/2 Inch Aluminized Exhaust System and Borla Mufflers. The Interior Features the Original Bench Seat which has been Recovered and Customized with over-sized countersunk Cup Holders to fit large YETI cups. Full Dakota Digital Retro Analog Gauges including Tachometer and Clock. Retro-Sound Radio featuring Bluetooth and AUX hookup (hidden in the ash-tray) with brand new Speakers factory located in the Cab. Completely new Wiring Harness with custom Fuse Box, all new Brake Lines, Fuel Lines, and Tank. Factory Options Include: Power Windows, Power Locks, AC, Cruise Control, Tachometer, Clock, and Silverado Trim. New Halogen Lighting throughout. The Original 4×4 Rally Wheels have been Restored and Wrapped in 33×10.5×15 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A’s. Rough Country 2 inch leveling kit. Warn Locking Hubs. Absolutely no expense has been spared in this Build, have over $30,000 in Receipts just in Parts. Truck Runs and Drives phenomenally well, feels like a new Silverado going down the road. Could jump In and Drive it across the Country tomorrow with no issue.
